When being led to his execution he was asked to take back his call for the implementation of the Shari'ah so that he pardon could be granted. They said if you won't do that then at least ask for mercy from the president. He replied: "Why should I seek mercy: If my judgement is upon the Haqq (truth) then I am satisfied with the truth and if my judgement has been made upon Baatil (falsehood) then I will not seek mercy from falsehood." May Allah (swt) grant this Shaheed his mercy and the highest Jannah. Allahumma Ameen. — at Egypt. |
